Headteacher’s Welcome

Katie Jamieson
Headteacher

Welcome to Castle Park School, where we are passionate about creating a warm, inspiring and enriching environment where every child can flourish, achieve and thrive.

At the heart of our school are the relationships we build with our children and families. We want every child to feel known, valued, listened to and cared for. We work closely with families and our wider school community because we know that when we work together, children feel happy, confident and ready to learn.

Our dedicated team of staff and governors share a strong belief that school should be a place where children have fun, feel safe and develop a genuine love of learning. We encourage children to be curious, creative and adventurous, while helping them develop the qualities that will support them throughout life: respect, resilience and responsibility.

We offer a creative and engaging curriculum, with rich classroom experiences, exciting visits and plenty of opportunities to learn through doing, exploring and discovering. We want children to leave Castle Park with happy memories, a sense of pride in what they have achieved and the confidence to embrace new challenges.

Located on the outskirts of Kendal, in the beautiful Lake District, our fantastic grounds provide an inspiring setting for learning. We are proud to be part of our local community and make the most of the wonderful heritage, culture and natural environment on our doorstep.

The staff, children and governors at Castle Park are always delighted to welcome current and prospective families through our doors. We would be very happy to show you around, meet you and give you the opportunity to experience our friendly, fun and welcoming school for yourself.

If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact the school office on 01539 790440. We look forward to welcoming you to Castle Park and sharing what makes our school such a special place.
